Whether it's due to seasonal shifts or lifestyle changes, it isn't uncommon for homeowners to stop using their pool. During this transitional period, it's best to start the pool closing process so your pool doesn't accrue bacteria. Maintain your pool between uses with help from The Pool Guys. We'll perform all the steps needed to prepare your pool for closing.
Closings include:
A final vacuum of the pool*, adding closing chemicals (cost of chemicals not included), winterization of filter system**, removal of any ladders or railings, lowering water below skimmer on in-ground pools with mesh covers only, blow out underground lines and adding antifreeze, and installation of customers cover. *If there are several leaves at the bottom of the pool and additional time is needed for removal, there will be an additional labor fee. ** For non-weekly maintenance customers we recommend coming in with a water sample a few days before your closing to balance the water before closing. We do not balance water at the closing.
