Prepare Your Pool for Summer

Your pool has been resting peacefully during the fall and winter. Now, it's time for it to shine. From April to November, The Pool Guys are offering pool opening services for homeowners in the Pleasant Valley, NY area. During your initial consultation, we'll assess your needs then develop a concrete plan of action.

Openings Include:
Remove, clean and store cover, remove winter plugs and gizmos, assemble filter system, install ladders and railings (if assessable), start system*, if there is a heater we will check to make sure it fires up*, add opening chemicals (liquid shock, banish algaecide), and vacuum pool*. *If water level is not at proper level and we have to make a return visit to start pool, an additional $50 is charged. * If the heater fires up, we will not leave on/running. If the heater does not fire up, for a propane heater we recommend making sure you have propane, and if so, contacting your gas company for service/repair. If it is an electric heat pump, we recommend contacting an HVAC company for service/repair. *If pool is not clear enough to see the bottom, we will do a one time "blind" vacuum, but customer should schedule a return visit, at additional costs. Please note that some dirt and debris will settle to the bottom after the first vacuuming is done and may require additional visit(s), at additional costs, to achieve desired results. Repairs usually require a return visit at an additional charge.
